Summer Glau was an American actress best well-known for her character River Tam in Firefly, a critically acclaimed television series. Also, she played Cameron on Terminator. Sarah Connor Chronicles. The Sarah Connor Chronicles also featured her on Angel Cold Case The Big Bang Theory Chuck, Hawaii Five-0 and The 4400. In addition to her appearances in Serenity and Knights of Badassdom she has starred in a variety of TV as well as short films like Mammoth the initiation of Sarah Deadly Honeymoon Dead End Help for the Holidays and Inside the Box. Glau was awarded numerous awards and honors. FHM has twice ranked her in the top 100 Sexiest Women in all time as well. Wizard magazine ranked her as the Sexiest Woman on TV. This American beauty also earned a place in the Maxim magazine's Hot 100 list. Her acting accomplishments include winning the SFX Award, which she won for Serenity. She was awarded the Saturn Award as Best Supporting actress for her role in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Selena Quintanilla......................Selena was born April 16 1971 in Corpus Christi Texas . She was the youngest of three children born to Marcela and Abraham Quintanilla. Selena was a part of her father's group as she was eight years old. Selena joined her elder siblings Abraham Junior who played playing the bass guitar, and sister Suzette played drums. Selena performed as the leader of the band. The band was called Selena Y Los Dino and she would perform along with her siblings at various bars restaurants wedding fairs and many other places. Selena was not able to enjoy a full growing up as the group required lots of time. Their father Abraham was determined to inspire the band and eventually they were passionate musicians. Abraham senior played in Los Dinos, the band which started the whole thing. Selena Y Los Dinos officially began in 1981. It was the band's main commercial venture, as well as the main source of income for the family. Even though there were times of struggle at the beginning with little funds, the Quintanilla family stood firm and persevered in their quest to create an extremely successful group. Selena Y Los Dinos achieved fame throughout the western states in the late 1980s. Selena as the group's lead singer of the group, won two prizes at the Tejano Awards in 1986: Female Vocalist of The Year And Performer. From then on, Selena Y Los Dinos were among the top winners every year, and they gained notoriety and fame. The group was featured on a variety of programs in Spanish language, such as El Show De Johnny Canales Every Sunday, and Sabado Gigante.
