Allana Ferguson bio

Allana was chosen to represent Australia during the Rugby Sevens 2013, but later knee injuries forced her on the sidelines. It took a few years to Allana to re-enter the rugby league. Allana was the first woman to play in a rugby league game in 2015 and was a star in the game for New South Wales when they played Queensland. Allana's career in radio has grown since she is a regular on the 2GB Continuous Call Team, a highly rated program. Allana holds a professional teaching qualification outside of sports. Allana Ferguson has the unique distinction of having represented Australia in three sports including the rugby sevens (rugby league) along with touch, and also the union of rugby. Allana Ferguson is a Jillaroos rugby player and fourth time tear to the ACL was forced to end her career in football. She had torn the ligament in the same knee while she was 15 17 and 20-years-old and, after a third tear it meant Ferguson's time ended. Ferguson, JILLAROOS' playmaker, has been removed from the club early due to a fourth left ACL tear.
